EPISTAXIS: the medical term for nosebleed.
The word that truly described yesterday. Who would have thought that the exams were going to be that difficult? So difficult that all I have to do was guess and guess. Rant end.

Midterms Week
We're given this time to study. Well, I am supposed to be studying but whatever. I don't feel like touching my notes yet eventhough we have tons of studying to do. For microbio, we have about a hundred pages to study. OHMYGOSH! How will I be able to finish all that by tomorrow? The answer: I WILL NOT SLEEP LATER. Kidding. I'll just stay up until the wee hours of the morning. So yes, I'm just preparing myself for the grueling night. Ampness eh.

It's been a while
So yea, it's been a while since I last posted an entry here in my almost non existent blog. So for the past week, I had a rotation in the OPD department of our University Hospital wherein we handled pregnant women who are having their prenatal check up. It was my first time to do the Leopold's maneuver. And I tell you, it's quite amazing! Being able to feel the baby inside a woman's womb is truly different. :>
My friend, Alyssa also celebrated her 18th birthday. We had the proper event at their residence then we had an after party at Iloilo's most busy place at night. We went to Floe superclub and danced the night away. Yea, nobody got drunk except for those icky strangers who wanted to get in our pants. They're wasted as hell. Anyhow, Im gonna share some of the amazing pictures taken during the party.

Days of little sleep
It's almost a week now that I only have a couple of hours for sleep. How long will it took for me to get sick do you think? :(

One of those ALL NIGHTER
So I have to pull another all nighter tonight. :> Who would thought that I'm not yet done with my Nursing Process, right? I mean, I had the whole weekend and whatnot. But I procrastinated. Ahhh.. The beauty of it. So now, I'm sorta cramming. I still have to iron my uniform and check if my requirements are complete. And do you know what time is it now? It's freakin 10pm. Great, huh? I admit it. Hands down. No argument about it. I AM A TOTAL PROCRASTINATOR. I like to call myself procrastinating babe. Atleast I got to be a total babe. HAHA! Btw, I have a duty tomorrow morning. 7am. So coool, right? NOT.

Hustle and Bustle
Okay, after a week of hustling and bustling(and neglecting my blog for that matter), I finally had the urge to make an entry here. We had our first rotation last Wednesday and I'm assigned in the nursery ward! Babies here and there. I've met babies from 5 hours old to babies who are 2 days old. That young, right? Imagine my anxiety when I first cuddled my first patient who is 3 days old. She was so tiny! I can even hold her with just one hand. Sadly, they discharged that afternoon. The next day, I was assigned with two babies! Both are males. The other one is a day old and the other is only 8 hours old. I finally had the chance to bathe my one day old baby. It was nerve wracking.. I was really worried that I might drop him. And I would have to make a baby if that happened. Lmao! So all in all, my first duty was pretty cool. I'm always tired at the end of the day, ofcourse. But all was worth it. I have a bigger problem now, though. I might not be able to attend one of my bestfriend's debut because of my PM shift in the delivery room. That's soo not cool, you know. Sigh.

McDo and Books
Today's only agenda was to go to Medicus to have our fecalysis and throat swab and then have our tools engraved, but we ended up strolling around the city. McDo was our first destination after our medical.
A stolen shot of Danemar showing her monster coke float and my regular coke float.
After McDo, we went to the market to have our instruments engraved and guess what? We found some good fans there! I bought the pink one while Lily bought the red one. Both fans were pretty cute. :>
So after that, we went to Robinson's to kill time but we ended up buying books at Book Sale. It was awesome! I bought four books for 55php only. What with prices as low as 5php. How GREEEAAAAT is that, huh?
Soon after, we satisfied our stomachs by eating at KFC and while Danemar was reading her Candy mag, we found Lily's picture with Armo there! We practically squealed! And ofcourse, I was the one responsible for that surprise. :>After hanging out at the mall, Dan accompanied me to Blackbox to get my picture and my mom's. We came back to Medicus and got the results and our day ended fine.
